Built by the Farny family and friends, the High Camp Hut is a cabin in the back country of the San Juan Mountains, near Telluride, CO. The cabin sits on the edge of a high alpine meadow with views of Sheep Mountain and San Miguel Peak, and distant views of Wilson, Mt. Wilson, El Diente and Lizard Head Peak. Depending on the weather, you can hike, snowshoe or cross-country ski through 2.5 miles of magnificent spruce forest. The wood-burning sauna heats up quickly if you want to relax more fully before turning in for the night. You will find comfortable beds in one of four second-floor bedrooms, or loft. Awaken refreshed to the sound of quiet, and prepare for another day of adventure.
